Reverse osmosis membrane TFC

The TFC series reverse osmosis membrane – an original Aquafilter reverse osmosis membrane. The TFC reverse osmosis membrane consists of many thin layers of a porous, semi-permeable film wound around a central core.

TFCxF series membranes are compatible with many reverse osmosis systems on the market. The membranes are sold in various capacities – 50GPD, 75GPD, 100GPD, and 125GPD. They effectively remove 96%-99% of dissolved solids, most bacteria and viruses, and organic compounds (no smaller than 0.0001 μm), and even ions.

All filtered contaminants and impurities are drained away into the sewage system. TFCxF series membranes improve overall water quality. Please remember that the performance of reverse osmosis membranes depends on water temperature and pressure.

Low incoming water temperature will affect (reduce) membrane performance. Pressure has a similar effect. In such cases, a booster pump such as the AFXPOMP should be used.
