Whole-house water filtration kit

The whole-house water filtration kit consists of:

  • Iron removal filter with oxidation tank (1054), compressor, compressor air flow controller, and RX 1‘‘ control valve.
  • Water softener (1354) with RX 1‘‘ control valve and brine tank.

Water softening filters use ion exchange to remove hardness ions (calcium and magnesium cations) from water. The water hardness ions are replaced with sodium cations. Softened water has good taste qualities and is clear and clean. Softened water ensures that heating elements in appliances don't get coated with insoluble deposits (limescale), plumbing fixtures stay clean, and the service life of this equipment is extended. Thanks to the use of softened water, insoluble, poorly heat-conductive deposits (limescale) don't form, guaranteeing more efficient, economical, and eco-friendly operation of heating and steam boiler systems. When softened water is used for laundry and fabric dyeing, there's no need for special anti-scale additives, less detergent is used, and dyed or washed fabrics come out soft, clean, and gentle.

Excess iron not only harms your body, but the unfiltered dirt carried along with iron particles further contaminates your drinking water.

Sometimes, due to a high iron concentration, the water's color turns yellow or light brown.
