Most importantly, if you notice changes in your water quality yourself, don't ignore them, because water quality won't fix itself. If you use cartridge water filters, the cartridges need to be replaced every few months. If you use equipment that cleans the water automatically, it needs simpler and less frequent maintenance. As a precaution, you can call out a technician once a year for general servicing and to check how the equipment is performing.
How Often to Test Your Water
Customers usually buy iron removal filters or water softeners only after having a chemical, laboratory water test done, and the water filter is then calibrated according to its readings.
