Activated carbon filter cartridge FCCBKDF-2-20BB

The FCCBKDF-2-20BB filter cartridge is designed for cold water filtration, Big Blue 20". It consists of three layers:

*First layer - (KDF media) removes hydrogen sulfide, pesticides, heavy metals (lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium), and iron. Inhibits the growth of bacteria and viruses.

*Second layer (softening resin) replaces calcium and magnesium ions with sodium ions.

*Third layer (coconut shell carbon) removes chlorine from the water and many aromatic compounds (improving the water's taste and odor).

The FCCBKDF-2-20BB cartridge includes a safety filter that protects the filtering particles from the outside. We recommend installing a housing with a sediment cartridge in front of it to extend the service life of the activated carbon cartridge.
